The Physics of Spanking

We were asked if we could talk about the physics of spanking. Well, who better to consult than an actual physicist who is ALSO an actual spanko?

Our friend, Al Doyle, sat down with us at GASP 2025 to give us a lesson in the physics of spanking. We even sat down to work out the math to see if we could finally get an answer to the age-old question: does a paddle with holes hurt more than a paddle without holes?

From Newton’s apple, to Einstein’s theories, to the earth falling upwards, “Professor” Doyle blows our minds with science while answering some pre-arranged questions, all while on the journey to the ultimate answer about the pain of the paddles. We even discuss a few topics that may require further experimentation. But all the while, we laugh and have fun like always. 

We discuss basic physics concepts, a couple of formulas, and even how much you weigh jumping off a building to get us to the mathematical conclusion of… well, you’ll just have to listen to find out! 

This might be our most technical episode yet! You may want to take notes. There may be a test!

Join us for another radio play, adapted by Lizzy, based on The Mysteries of Verbena House, a Victorian spanking novel in two parts by Etonensis. This book has some interesting history itself, including a connection to another famous holiday season author.

School Role Plays at GASP

Teachers, Principals, Fraternity & Sorority Hazing: What is it about school role plays that spankos find so fascinating? 

We sat down (some of us more comfortably than others) after doing many different school-themed role plays at GASP 2024 and talked with some of the participants (on both sides of the paddle) to find out! 

We discuss all aspects of the school events, from organization and planning, to playing the principal and the naughty sorority pledge. While, of course, we each have our own personal reasons for enjoying school-themed play, you’ll be amazed at how much we have in common. 

If you haven’t tried a school role-play yourself, perhaps this episode may pique your interest, or kindle some new ideas!

We sat down with Jeff from Kink Works, a vendor of quality straps and paddles at Lone Star 2022, to discuss his implements, his process, his wood fetish, and how he recognized us at last year’s party just by Eric’s voice! 

This maker shares some of the behind-the-scenes of what it takes to turn a passion for making implements into a full-time career. He discusses a bit about local lumber shops, the leather process, and a lot of his own personal passions and kinks. Shocking, we know!

What are some of the favorite woods to work with for a maker of these highly-polished, and vicious, beauties? The answers may not be what you’d expect.

Never fear, he sold us some of the highest quality implements we’ve played with, and we even came home with more this year!
